PEI East Coast drive

we decided to do the WHOLE island. we had the east to go. 250 miles of east coast drive!!!!!
8-13-11 Along this drive we saw more farms: cattle, horses, sheep, goats, potato fields, canola fields. The island's only winery was on this side. So, we saw grape vineyards, too. There were alot of fishing villages along the way. We stopped at Basin Head Beach here to Bothwell up the coast the sand is referred to the 'singing sands due to the noise that the sand makes through your toes. this sand was finer than the other beaches. It was still red. we stopped at the East Point lighthouse. there we were fortunate to see one of the many sand sculptures up close.
