New Brunswick, Canada

we had planned to get up at 6 AM and get on the road by 7 AM. there was a strong thunderstorm about 5:30/6 AM. so we stayed in bed till about 6:45 AM. traveling on I -20, we have the St. Lawrence and the Mont Grand-Fonds in the distance on the left. near La Pocotiere, we have the Notre Dame mountains on the right. On 185 S, we watched for moose but never saw one. Bruce had to drive in the mountains with good sized grade. (Mt.Farlague) At the last rest stop in the province of Quebec, bruce talked with people from Arkansas and Maryland. It was so good for him to be able to talk with someone who spoke English. We arrived at our destination in Edmundston, NB Canada with the help of our GPS and she was correct!!!! the park is beautiful and is on the Iroquois River. It is a good thig that we had planned to not unhook to go for our MOD today. this is a Canadian civic holiday and EVERYTHING is closed. EVEN Wal Mart and grocery stores. we are always fortunate it seems to park next to water. the Iroquois river flows right by the campground and fishing is good, we hear.
beautiful scenery
mountainous terrain
