Sandy's Produce and Deli

2-24-2012 aseveral of us went to this establishment for lunch. Wow! the food is good and plenty of it. We were all stuffed. She gave us complimentary tea and desserts. She provided entertainment as well with her stories and jokes. A good time for all.

2-22-2012 We and the Giles went to Sandy's Big tree Produce and Deli for our MOD. Wow that experience was like walking into your Mother or Grandmother's kitchen. The very BEST sandwiches anywhere with NO exception. She has the sandwich made on Cuban bread and it is a hot sandwich heated in a grill press. Looked fabulous. I had a great tuna fish sandwich on a hoagie bun. We then walked up to the Meeting Hall and saw a family of 10 perform with the full gamut of string instruments. They sang Bluegrass style music with a mix of gospel and old (Tennessee Waltz) Mother, father and eight children!!!

Thousand Trails/Peace River RV Resort

2-19-2012 We stayed in 'the swamp' one night. We took R 15 on the road. It was VERY tight to back onto. But my Bruce can put a rig where it needs to go!!!! We have a cement patio and a picnic table (frrom site 14 after our neighbors left). We are very happy with the choice.

2-20-2012 We woke up to find that Bruce's
new Swinn bike was stolen last night. The thief
rolled it right up the bank. i suppose we are furnishing a new ride to work??? Bruce filed a
report with the local law enforcement. Then went to a female barber. She took more hair off than tommy sain at home. I actually sat in the sun for an hour at the pool this afternoon. Bruce grilled Italian sausages on the grill for our MOD.

2-17-2012 This AM i ordered Riley's mattress and crib bedding set from Target.com baby registry!!

                  This PM we admired Johnny Morgan's peddle car that he has completed!!
                   The Guroos took advantage of the wonderful supper that the campground staff provided.
                           This was Italian sausage sandwiches and chips. After supper, we had entetainment
                           and games.

2/16/2012 I got word early this AM that my niece had her second baby girl, Mina McKenzie Kreps:

Born just before midnight on 2-15-2012. Her Grandpa Jack sent this beautiful picture via his I phone. The age of technology is wonderful!!

Our Bounder Guroo rally began this afternoon with meet and greet, eats (Paula Dean's taco soup), business, entertainment and a pin the tail on the donkey game.

Little Willie's RV Resort/Bounders United/ Carolina Guroos rally

Today is Valentine's Day. I love my Valentine more today than I ever have. We have been married for 40 years. We have had many mountain tops and some valleys. Our love for God and each other has held us close. So here we are at age 62 and looking forward to 40 more years together.
