Northside Community Church

Today is Sunday, a day set aside to worship with our Christian family. We drove to Rocky Mt, NC arriving at Northside Community Church about 8am. We planned to worship here today because our former pastor Mark Pridgen, Jr. is the pastor at this church. When he left Burkemont, we promised that one day we would be parked at his church for worship. that was about five years ago! We visited with his entire family. We also saw Lawrence and Judy Leonard. We sat thru the 9:30 and 10:30am services his sermon was from 1 Timothy 2. 'How can you have a blessed life and family?' God has already blessed America. He wants His children to to bless America by 1.Praying unceasing 2. living righteously and 3. We traveled on after worship service to Emporia, Virginia and stopped at the Jellystone Yogi Bear RV Park for the night. As we arrived, i heard a train whistle blow! We had got up so early that we all three took a nap this afternoon. We had a Stouffer's salisbury steak and macaroni dinner for our MOD.
