Sand

July 5,2011 Bruce was a bit under the weather today,so i spent a day working on my blog (learning about putting pictures with the narrative. Exciting stuff to me Ha Ha  We had Evelyn Giles' crockpot stew to eat and also Denise Fulmer's strawberry lemonade to drink. this meal was so good!!
the Casey Anthony verdict came in as NOT GUILTY. WOW. i cannot believe it, but the jury did the job that they were chosen to do and casey will meet the ultimate judge and jury some day.

July 6, 2011 sand, sand everywhere. it is a full time job to keep it swept from the RV. It was very windy anhd the tide was very high. it is not difficult to realize the damage that a tsunami can do when the ocean comes quickly and unexpected upon you and covers your lap while sitting in a beach chair. Now talk about sand!!
We fixed tuna salad and cut a fresh tomato for our meal. At 7pm, the Greenes, Boones, Duckworths and Clarkes came for bruce's homemade banana ice cream (his aunt Mary Garrison's recipe) A great time by all.

July 7, 2011 Bruce has been SO good to me. he has carried my beach chair and bag to the ocean every day. today, he rented an umbrella and chairs for us and he came to the beach with me!! Much better with him at my side.
We went to the Carolina Roadhouse for our MOD (meal of the day). i had oysters /house salad. I discovered a few pieces of shell that COULD have broken my teeth. I just am lucky, i guess. once i  found a pearl in an oyster. That was at Admiral's Flagship with Bubba and Kelly.
Tony and Linda Smith came by and viaited a long while this evening. They wanted to see our rennovations to our RV that we had done this past winter in Florida.

July 8, 2011
It has rained alot today. We have packed up, cleaned the rig and done laundry.
I have spent alot of time with pictures and our blog a good day to do so.
We went to North Myrtle and ate at the K&W cafeteria for our MOD. Bruce had their beef stew. i had their baked ham, black eyed peas and sweet potatoes. Great food.
We went over and visited with the troops. THANKS to RT and Denise Boone, we met and talked with a very nice couple from Quebec (between Quebec and Montreal) Their names are Francois and Chantal Lehaie. She spoke more English than he but such kind people. They took time to tell Bruce about road conditions and me about restaurants in Quebec. Two to choose from are Le lapin saute and Le cachon dingue. one street to avoid for restaurants is the grande allee street. the food is not so good but expensive. Great pointers  and much appreciated.

ready to leave the fun in the sand and get on with the rest of our journey!!

Until next time
