more beach time

i will begin by talking about our Frenchie. Petie is enjoying his beach time. he goes from the sofa window to the passenger chair to watch the activity go by. It may be a vehicle, golf cart or a pretty lady. he does not seem to mind. he also likes to sit out in the evening in a lawn chair and watch the huge pararde of golf carts go by. Of course, his favorite two times each and every day is his feed time!! He will go to Bruce and put his front paws on Bruce's leg and will bark once 'please'. then Petie will go to the feed bowl thinking that 'Dad' will react immediately. we help Petie stay on a schedule by waiting until about 3:30pm to feed him. if we do not, he will be barking at 5am wanting his morning feed!!:((

On the 29th, i did not go to the beach. Bruce and i cleaned in the RV that am. then we got ready and ate lunch about 1pm with the Greenes and Boones at the Magnolia on 26th on the main beach road of Myrtle Beach. The food was delicious. Of course, it is a buffet and you can really hurt yourself with fried chicken, fried squash and peach cobbler. That WAS our MOD (meal of the day)
Justin Fortune showed us his Lego camping village that he had built of the campers parked around them. He even built the vehicles that pull the campers and the golf carts. An amazing kid.

On the 30th, Bruce grilled bratwurst and we added saurkrout to them in a bunwith a little mustard. Yum Yum.
We went to see the Hi Steppin Country show on the campground. we were disappointed. First, they have taken the individual chair seats out and replaced them with huge planked pews. They were SO uncomfortable. The show just was not what we had been used to in years past. Our Kelly could have out sung any of those kids, too.
i have also enjoyed the indoor pool between 1p and 2p. that is adult swim. there were only four other people in the pool for about 30 minutes. that was nice.
We have had smoke drifting from somewhere, enough to hide the big condos to the right of the camground.
Our friends whom are originally from Pennsylvania and now have a house in Rock Hill SC are parked beside of us. We visit every year. she gave me alot of information on the Keys last year and jumpstarted our  visit there this past winter.
Bruce says that it is time to get supper MOD on the table. tonight it is a filet mignon, a sweet potato and a salad of fresh tomato. cucumber and onion (thanks to a local farmer's wife that runs a produce stand across the street from where we are parked)!!
until next time.
