whale watching

Bruce and i started our AM at a leisurely pace and then got ready and went cruising on the Bay of Fundy on a Catamaran style boat. we just did not think that either of us would be comfortable on any other type of boat. Actually the trip went very well!!! We saw a finback whale and several humpback whales. We were served hot chocolate and some salmon dip on crackers. That actually was so good that we asked about buying some of it, but the people who fix it for them do not make it for the public any more. i was disappointed, but was told enough about the recipe that i am going to try to make some. We came back and fixed a hamburger helper beef stoganoff for our MOD. This has been a wonderful day. my pictures are not professional of the whales but at least i got some. we saw porpoises playing around. we also saw seals playing around in the water and also lyin on a reef nearby. Bruce said that we would have a  grand finale at St Andrews by the Sea and i believe him. the view is incredible and the town is adorable. could stay her for awhile.

many whale watching opportunities to choose from

some whale watching trips require suiting up

our RV from the bay of Fundy
Low tide
we learned that the tide reduces
20 feet at this area and 40 feet
out in the bay. Amazing stuff!!

High tide at the same place

These next pictures were taken by the guide on the boat and she said that they could be obtained from the company's blog.
