Over the past two days, it has rained most all the time. God knew that we needed to slow down and reenergize our bodies with much needed rest. I have even rested from our blog!! We had our MOD at the Blue Dog Restaurant on Saturday, 9-17-11. Yesterday, we slept in until 8AM. THAT was a first since 7 AM is usually the time that our bulldog awakens.(he was tired also). We had lemon pepper pork loin and small red potatoes for our MOD yesterday. A great meal! the weekend has been filled with football also. One of my FB friends who had been a part of the WCU marching band told me that The Pride of the Mountains, WCU marching band was playing at the halftime of the Panthers and Packers game. We could not get the game on TV and the Panthers lost. So proud of the WCU marching band and their magnificent display of talent in any venue (football games/Rose Bowl Parade in Pasedena, California 2011)
This evening, we met friends, Pete and Jean Crean at Ruby Tuesdays for our MOD. So good to see and visit with them.
