Some Day is Here: 9-11-11

On 9-11-84, my son was born.This is a Happy Birthday to him, for sure. His amazing wife and he are celebrating with friends,eats and FOOTBALL!!
On 9-11-01 the USA was attacked in the worst way in my lifetime. i was working at WCC in Popwood(Poplar was being rennovated). I had already heard during medication pass some of what had happened. I got a page from Bubba. He could not get his dad to answer the phone and was scared for his Dad's safety. I assured him taht i had just spoken to dad and he was okay. Bubba was concerned about all of our safety. i asked him exactly where he was at this time. He replied that he was in band. I told him to go back into the classroom with his trumpet and play Amazing Grace for those whose lives had been lost and then play Taps for those who tragically lost their lives. He told me later that his classmates attacked him. at least it broke the hysteria.
Today 9-11-11 Bruce and I traveled from North Hampton, New Hampshire to Sandwich, Massachusetts. Our GPS brought us right down the center of Boston, Massachusetts. at 9:45AM on a Sunday was okay, but don't think that we will rely on GPS thru NYC!! We were able to see some of the NYC memorial service this afternoon. God bless each and every family that lost loved ones and God Bless America!
