Labor Day
My heart aches today as we celebrate the labor force in the USA. The job crisis is so sad. As a Christian, I pray that the people off the USA will turn back to faith in God, the great physician who can heal our broken hearts and broken work force. We see that no matter what political party is speaking, we cannot and must not put our faith in man. God is our strength and our salvation!! I want to share some pictures of a bronze statue we saw at the W. Franklin Hatheway Labour Exhibit Center in St. John's, New Brunswick Canada. This bronze statue is called the "Day of Mourning Monument" I realize that it is depicting bad working conditions and Saint John's labor unions, but i feel that it is appropriate for our USA labor force on this Labor Day. A Day of mourning for ALL those people who are without jobs.
