the William J Clinton Presidential Center

My heart was NOT totally into doing anything today after learning that we had missed being present for Piper's birth. I KNOW that God's timing is perfect and only He will help ease that pain. I also know that Bubba and Kelly are enduring far more pain than I having to be apart at this precious time.

Early this morning Bruce took beautiful pictures of a tugboat pushing barges down the Arkansas River before we started our day.

Sooo, we toured the Bill Clinton Presidential Library as planned. He requested of the architect that it be designed as a bridge. it is at the end of an old railroad bridge (bridge of the past) and the center is the bridge to the 21st century. This was one of the most phenomenal buildings that I have ever seen. It is beautiful and feels Presidential...replicas of the cabinet room and also the oval office. The William J Clinton Presidential Center houses the largest archival collection in American presidential history.  78 million pages of official records, 20 million email, 2 million photographs and 12,5000 videotapes documenting the life and career of the 42nd president of the US.
