Peregrine Pines Fam Camp/Air Force Academy/Moument, Colorado

We traveled 246 miles today from  Montrose through Colorado Springs to Monument, Colorado. We had a gorgeous sky as we began our travel this am. We traveled through beautiful mountains. However the areas with no guardrail was scary. We encountered Cerro Summit, Blue Mesa Summit, Monarch Pass Summit AND the Continental Divide at 11,000 + feet. We even saw some snow on the mountain. We also saw Mt. Anterro at 14,269 feet! The FamCamp will be our home for three days.
