Williams, Arizona

We are leaving Las Vegas...the only place that we could shower and never use the hot water. That is how hot the cold water became from the hot temperatures. We traveled 221 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada to Williams, Arizona. We have been here before and ALWAYS look forward to returning. The drive took us by Lake Mead and Hoover Dam and the Colorado River, with ugly Arizona mountains...Bruce is sooo tired of driving in the mountains. He is tense due to the rig getting too warm and the check engine light goes on and off. We made it with seemingly no problems with the RV. We did lose our running lights that Bruce had just bought on the ROUGH Arizona roads.

We arrived and got settled in to Railside RV Park and then we ate our MOD at the Pine Country Restaurant. Of course, we had coconut cream pie for dessert.

A few pictures as we left Las Vegas

we will be boarding this train in the am to go to the Grand Canyon

The Pine Country Restaurant

Bruce and  I rode uptown in Williams and had another great meal at the Pine Country Restaurant.
We shopped at the Depot gift shop. I took a few pictures of downtown.
