Mount Rainier...Seattle....The Crab Pot

Bruce and I began our day today by doing some shopping at the Commissary and PX. A great view of Mount Rainier.
lots of early morning bright sun and haze

We traveled to Seattle Waterfront today. On the way over we saw an airplane hovering overhead, the Safeco Field (where the Seattle Mariners play) and the skyline of Seattle.

We had a wonderful MOD at The Crab Pot Restaurant. The meal was like a Low Country Boil back home. The food was dumped onto the middle of our table. Great experience!!!

All eaten!!!!

Some of the highlights at the waterfront:

We then went to the Pike Place Market where there were so many people you could hardly walk.
We watched at the fresh fish market where the employees entertain the crowd by having the customer to throw them the fish that they have chosen and they throw it back to them.

Fort Lewis welcomed Bruce back home from Vietnam in 1971. This was the main gate before there was a merger with McCord AFB.

One last photo of Mount Rainier
