Stratosphere...Fremont Street Experience...Las Vegas

We and the Creans went back uptown to the Stratosphere and Fremont Street. The Stratosphere is a tower that is 1,149 feet tall.. It is the tallest observation tower in the U.S. and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. From the observation decks, lounge, restaurant, meeting, banquet and private dining rooms, guests enjoy the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley.

There was several rides available. One was the Sky Jump. This young woman is getting suited up to jump  all of the way from the top to second floor of this tower. Not Me!!!....

We then went to Fremont Street for an experience of a lifetime. This street is in the center of downtown Las Vegas and has a permanent canopy constructed to cover the casino lined street with 2 million lights and state of the art sound system. The light and musical show is like none other in the world. The special shows projected on the canopy ceiling last for about seven minutes. This is a free experience, except for all of the creatively costumed people that will take tips for a photo. Here is Mickey Mouse on Fremont Street. His was the most conservative of any of them!!

This could be my cousin Maurice, playing the Saxophone on Fremont Street.
