7-24-2012 I did laundry this AM and then exercised 2 miles with Leslie Sansone. Jean and I went to the pool for about 1 1/2 hours. Bruce had the awning over the door replaced. The in and out mechanism was not working and the fireworks from Lakewood had left holes where the embers had fallen. We went for our MOD to the Mongolian Grill in N Myrtle Beach. The food was great.

Mongolian Grill was originally from ancient Mongolia. According to legend, when the mighty Ghengis Khan was expanding his empire, after a long day of battle, he and his warriors set up a tent, made a campfire, and then sat around the campfire to prepare for their dinner. Short of cooking utensils, the warriors would use their fighting tools like swords to thinly slice the meat, then grill the meat upon the warriors' upturned shields over the campfire.
Until the 13th century, Mongolian grill was introduced into Central Plains. The Chinese people made an innovation to add some fresh vegetables, spices and sauces to make Mongolian Grill more attractive.
7-25-2012 Jean and I went to the mall for about 1 1/2 hours this morning. Jean had her nails redone. I shopped at Belk. I found placemats and napkins for the RV table!! We planned a meal around grilled steaks. I made a green bean casserole and baked two potatoes for me and Bruce. Jean made baked beans, an apple dessert, bread and sauteed mushrooms. a great "dinner and sweets".
