Shopping with Kelly and Riley

 Kelly , Riley and I met at Target in Hickory for some 'girl' time and shopping time. Riley can shop better than I can!! She had a snarl when she did not like the item that Kelly showed her if she did not like it. She smiled a big grin if she liked it. Kelly would let her hold it for a short while and then she would tell Riley nto tell it bye bye. She could not have that today. Riley was fine with that because she knew there would something new in a little bit!!! We went shopping at Babies R Us. I found Riley's birthday gift. We then had lunch at Atlanta Bread Company. Riley had her own order and eats like a big girl!!! We had a wonderful morning together.

RV to Dave's Garage

Bruce took the Bounder to Dave's Garage. He left it so that Dave could go over it from stem to stern in preparation for our cross country trip.

Complete service, hoses, belts, batteries were all replaced. Our Bounder is a 2003 model and some had never been changed. Thyen Bruce took it and had it inspected which would soon be due. The charging system still was malfunctioning, so an unexpected trip to Tom Johnson's RV service department.

A Day at Western Carolina University

4-20-2013   We spent the day at WCU for the Spring football game!!!! It is always good to be there at WCU. SO many great memories while Bubba was there. We are creating new memories with some of the same friends!! people ask about Bubba alot and wish him and his family,well. The long snapper is wearing #60. He has a long way to go!!

Jonathan's Creek--a peaceful place

2-17-2013 amidst this horrific week of vilolence,,,it is good to be able to park beside this creek and try to forget this troubled world. Our prayers are with Boston as they recover from the finish line bombings at the Boston marathon. Then the explosion of a fertilizer factory in Waco, Texas. Such troubled times. Also, the Senate did not pass the background checks for purchasing guns. A sad week indeed.

Cousins

4-13-2012  Great Grandma Ruby had a tea party for her great granddaughters, Riley, Esme and Mina!! Jack, Jamaica, Esme and Mina traveled from California to visit mother for almost one week. Kelly and Riley came up to visit us and all the cousins and participate in the tea party. A few photos to capture the fun that we all had.
